Cosy LED lighting? Why not!
The Modular Warm Dim technology enables LEDs to create the same warm ambiance as a dimmed halogen lamp. The colour temperature of a classic halogen lamp drops automatically when it’s dimmed. The neutral white light alters to a more yellow kind of light, which immediately sets the tone for cosiness and intimacy. Thanks to our Warm Dim technology, a similar effect can be attained with LED lights. The result is an impeccable and flicker-free dimming. With matching high CRI values and a full range of beam angles and LED gears too.

Integration of warm dim technology in LED lights
Our warm dim technology enables you to dim LEDs, thus creating the same warm ambiance as that of a dimmed halogen lamp. With matching high CRI values over dimming, a full range of beam angles and LED gears, impeccable dimming results without any hiccups. The integration of this technology in Modular's design architectural fixtures broadens the horizon of our emblematic fixtures. What's also good to know: as this technology is integrated into a module developed by our very own in-house designers, our warm dim solution is much more efficient - even at system level - than any other available on the market today!
Warm dimming enables warm ambiance
When dimming halogen lamps, the colour temperature automatically drops. A dimmed halogen lamp thus radiates a warmer, more atmospheric light than one operating at full capacity. Although it has been possible to dim LED lighting for some time now, the colour temperature remained unchanged, resulting in a different ambiance from that of dimmed halogen light. However, the recently developed ‘warm dimming’ technology enables dimmed LED and halogen light to create the same warm ambiance.
Even more to dim with fixtures
The addition of the Warm Dim technology to some of our fixtures has extended widely their applications and made them more versatile. That’s why we’re using warm dim technology into several product families such as Smart, Médard, Sémih and Rektor. Not only are these products well-fitted for usage in residential environments or hospitality, where dimming is often required. But since the previous products with a warm dim option were recessed fittings, these surface-mounted fittings mark a new step into the ‘warm dim era’.
The addition of Warm Dim with these product families gives designers more opportunities to mix and match different luminaires and products within the same lighting plan - while maintaining a consistent light quality. And that’s exactly what we at Modular wish to achieve: to offer as many creative options as possible, so that designers have every freedom to work their magic with our products.
